Transfer of Ownership of the ADJA

On June 19, 2025 the DJ industry mourned the loss of our esteemed and dedicated ADJA President, DJ Dr. Drax. Drax was not only a steadfast supporter of our industry but was a consistent leader who offered inspiration, stability and clarity for the future of the organization. In keeping  with this clear vision . . . we are pleased to announce that his wishes for the transfer of ownership of the American Disc Jockey Association (and Photo Booth Association) is near completion. We want to assure all members (and non-members) that the ADJA (and PBA) will thrive and grow under this new ownership and leadership, maintaining the values Drax instituted during his tenure.

This past spring, Drax had several people express interest in the association. He carefully weighed all options and knew he wanted someone whose business acumen and vision aligned with his own. While he never got the chance to personally oversee the transfer of ownership, this new owner was someone he knew possessed the leadership qualities and professional integrity needed to continue the vision for the ADJA and take it to the next level. I am certain this will mark an exciting new chapter  for the ADJA and one that will carry on the legacy of our esteemed, departed colleague.

We request your patience as we finalize the transfer and will introduce the new owner within the next week or so.

On behalf of Drax and the American Disc Jockey Association, thank you so much for the outpouring of love and support.

Sincerely, Brian S Graham
National Secretary of the American Disc Jockey Association
