Alan Havir has over 40 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry, performing in Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, as well as touring the mid-west. Alan has exceptional abilities to entertain as a DJ or musician, and understands all aspects of the total entertainment experience! In addition he has a background in the food service industry as a banquet captain. A highly creative and multidimensional professional, Alan shows an outstanding record of achievement in fundraising, charities, concerts and entertainment events. An accomplished writer, public speaker, and musical performer, Alan has excellent communication skills and the personality to move an audience to have fun. During his early years, Alan entertained by playing drums in the most popular nightclubs in Phoenix. Later, he performed with a rock group in Las Vegas where he befriended a group, The Checkmates L.T.D. and Joey Bishop, who played at the Sands Hotel in 1966. This is where Alan experienced show business by observing, listening and networking with other professionals.Later, in Los Angeles, Alan went on to play with band members from many well-known groups. He went on to graduate with a masters in screenwriting, and placed at the top in the Annual Los Angeles Times Samuel Arcoff Awards. Now, back in Phoenix, Alan serves his clients, family and community. His daughters perform in his special shows and his youngest daughter, at age 9, sang the National Anthem at Bank One Ball Park. Alan consults and performs weddings, parties, concerts, corporate, and charity events.
